Help make music happen

Your contributions support artists and their art!

Our Challenge
THANK YOU to everyone who made our June matching challenge a rousing success. WE MET OUR GOAL - and then some. But it's never too late to have an impact! We gratefully welcome your support, at any level.

SFFCM is dedicated to a life of art and the livelihood of artists throughout the Bay Area. We believe in our community of musicians, in all their diversity and creativity. Our job is to help them do theirs. Our goal is to connect them with the widest possible audience. Our dream is to have excellent, inspiring music in everyone's lives.

Does this excite you too? If so, we want your partnership - and need your help.

SFFCM relies on donations and grants to fund ALL of the great services we provide for both musicians and audiences around the Bay Area. While we could revel in all we’ve accomplished so far this year, we’d much rather share our excitement about what’s to come:

Presidio Sessions - Our wildly popular free Friday evening concert series – which continues to be filled nearly to capacity every week – enters its third season in September.

Pasados Del Presidio - Our Presidio partnership extends this year to a special summer event, presenting performances by Diana Gameros and Miguelito Martinez during the June 25th celebration of “San Francisco’s Birthday.”

SFMusic Day . Live + Free - On September 25th, we return to the Veterans Building for our signature annual event. Like last year, we anticipate sharing the spectrum of excellent music our region has to offer with more than 2000 people. This year’s Field Report focuses on the living legacy of the string quartet, featuring: Telegraph, Del Sol, St. Lawrence, Quartet San Francisco, Sunrise, and Chamber Music Society of San Francisco – wrapping up with the legendary Kronos.

Less obvious to the public eye, but just as crucial, is our unflinching commitment to the artists who make up our world‐class musical scene. Our career development workshops and fiscal sponsorship program provide these diligent musicians key paving stones on the path to sustainable careers within an embattled arts economy.

Join us in continuing to fill the Bay Area with high quality music. Any amount donated will be gratefully welcomed, and will be twice as effective, but only until June 30th: the Brenner Foundation has issued a $5,000 matching challenge for all donations made by then. You can make it possible for SFFCM to further its unique contributions to this art form we all love!

Sincerely,
The SFFCM Team
