Educational Program Fund
Make a donation to support the educational portion of our festival. Your support will help deepen our educational impact, engage our student performers with the community, and provide free entry to the show for the student performer’s families! Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to this cause! It will really make a difference in our ability to include families!
ANY AMOUNT WILL HELP!
We hope to reach $2,000 to better serve our student community, and any additional donations will help support our future educational efforts.
Berkeley Festival of Choro 2019 Educational Fund: This year our festival opening performance features the Oakland Public Schools Wind Collective, under the direction of Zack Pitt-Smith. These students will be performing an opening set of arrangements for winds of the music of Brazilian composer Ernest Nazareth. Our festival guest artists will be conducting workshops for these students as part of the festival at Edna Brewer School in Oakland on Monday afternoon, October 14th. We are raising funds to support this educational project and provide complimentary tickets to the festival for the students and their families.
Vist the Berkeley Festival of Choro website to purchase tickets and learn more about this year's festival.
